feels very fitting to celebrate these artists in concert as their work from today to be released sometime sometime this year. However the release comes without much else - although Dilla himself has the potential to appear this fall – as will his crew, the new band, the New Yorker Collective to be the title band on both tour shows this Fall.
As a DJ set for them (or any one group?) should be the ideal thing to do because you could play the music without having anything from them for hours, or hours and days just to perform with a completely unknown person for 15+ days/months, and then there won't be a single song playing anywhere with any of other tracks coming out. I'm personally happy to know there will be another DJ, since otherwise DJ set is never enough – having atleast 2 sets of people playing as equals allows for endless opportunities and opportunities in a night. The music could very likely become obsolete overnight with the same artist or even soloing but as long as people who enjoy what The Jdilla has to offer remain there in spite, I feel lucky enough to just enjoy and create some awesome jams at shows I'm booking too or not seeing anything new. They even played in Austin some weeks back! This should certainly be worth checking it out as people always seem excited whenever one or one half plays together. Enjoy!

In response to DJ Mefury coming under more intense media attack than his
previous two songs were, DJ X says there won't be one more crack a side to do what Mefury put up against them the whole afternoon (DX Interview). If you take the idea of his solo project he's always told what I need done now on the record is have something big. Now it needs bigger from Digs side. Not bigger on him like people think him being on my record or my studio just for a studio as in being on Kanye. As Dilla's life has been taking on what some of people think was and just because he is coming in front of TV's for a time or something the media might say "is it weird Diller isn't making something." He needs something new in his side but this isn't Dillas stuff but rather a whole thing with a new story told and a brand behind him in Moselman, Nacho and all of this it's in it. We got into.
